Candidate should have experience in the following areas component development, performance tuning, web service architecture, application security, system integration and quality management.

Experience and proven successes working with project management frameworks/methodologies, System Design, High Level and Low level design.
Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio, .NET, Visio, UML Design Tools, MS Projects
UML Modeling, OOAD, Design Patterns, Class Diagrams,Component Development, Framework design.
History of identifying, documenting and implementing process improvements
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects through all phases of the product development lifecycle
Proactively seeks to identify risks, then develops and executes effective mitigation plans
Ability to leverage past infrastructure experience to mitigate said risks and anticipate issues related to future projects or operational effectiveness
Someone who truly enjoys driving projects and tasks to completion
Planning and managing program-wide technology build, test and deployment activities
Being an expert in troubleshooting and performance tuning one or more technology products

New Hope Technos has an immediate opening for a Database Administrator.
The position requires designing, implementing and maintaining MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 databases. Responsibilities include guaranteeing the performance integrity and quality of databases, and controlling system capacity for existing requirements and planning for future needs. The successful candidate must have experience developing stored procedures for reporting and web applications as well as designing and developing DTS packages for data migration.

Installation of SQL Server, service packs and upgrades to the database engine.
Plan, test and implement backup and recovery strategies working with the systems engineers to achieve successful disaster recovery processes and documentation.
Identify areas for performance improvement regarding the databases and implement those changes without compromising the integrity of the ERP system. Work with database and server management tools to monitor usage, identify potential problem areas and make adjustments accordingly.
The ability to manage multiple databases and platforms for a global ERP environment.
Creation of objects in a data warehouse to support the reporting needs of the business.
Assist with solution design and implementation as needed,including creating stored procedures, user defined functions and utilizing DTS.
Ability to communicate clearly with people of all areas in the business across the globe.
This position may also require assisting with the administration of one or more applications that are installed using those databases. This includes managing the interfaces between systems.
Participation in troubleshooting activities relating to the ERP system.

At least 3 years of database management and development experience.
Experience creating and documenting conceptual designs for new projects required.
Extensive experience writing stored procedures and DTS packages required.
Experience with data security, data recovery and capacity planning required.
Familiarity with SQL Server 2005 desirable.
Experience with data modeling and data warehouse concepts desirable.
Demonstrated ability writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate with technical, application and operational staff.
Working knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies and the Windows operating system.
Must be willing to contribute as a team player.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences.
